Does anyone know where to get magic themed lapel pins? I'm looking for a small subtle tophat/wand type pin. Thanks!

If the purpose is to cause a conversation about magic, you do know that there are pins available to members from IBM and SAM?

Bob is correct! My SAM and IBM pins are the only pins I wear. We were singing at a wedding this past weekend and my wife suggested that I (made me) take them off my tux. I saw nothing wrong with them, but she said it wouldn't look right at a wedding. I disagreed, but I complied!

If it was not a magic gig, your wife is right. You are a young couple, and take it from a man who has been married for 40 years, when it comes to fashion, it is always best to follow the woman's advice. Al Angello

Hey, thanks guys, you're definitely right, I will check out IBM/SAM for that stuff. I also have a couple pins from the Castle but I wanted something more subtle (Like the Castle member pins I guess) and the SAM/IBM I am sure is what I am looking for. Thanks!

Waynenz, these were just the kind I'm looking for, too bad they don't have smaller ones or more than a couple, but thanks!

I just did an ebay search for "magic pins" and 379 items came up. Surely there's one there that will satisfy you.

When women get together and talk about men the most important qualification a man can have is to be "well trained", and it sounds like you have learned that lesson. My second wife liked my resume, because I spent 20 years with my first wife, and she would not have to train me. HAVE FUN Al Angello

The pin I wear (proudly, too) is the one from The Magic Castle. It is beautiful!

If nothing else, a pin will help you find your right from your left.

I wear my IBM pin, my SAM pin and my BRAND NEW Territorial Vice President pin for the IBM! What a surprise when that came it yesterday!

The only pin I wear is my FFFF pin, which I earned.
And My FUntasio pin, given to me, (from his jacket lapel to mine) by Fantasio. I will treasure both til I die and hopefully I will be burried wearing them?! But as far as the Tophat pin? sorry I don't know where to get one? |

There is a really nice Mickey Mouse (Magician) pin that's usually on ebay.
By the way, I recently learned from a friend that there's a way to mount these on a jacket so they will NOT accidentally come off! It's a very short doodad that has a TINY allen screw to hold it on. Apparently, these are used by people who ride motorcycles and wear leather jackets...they'll hold the pins on there quite securely. Steve |

Others are (I don't know?) like, you have to put it through the fabric, then out and hook it on a latch... I hope that made a little sense? |
