Gerry Le Roy has gained the title of the oldest wall rider in the world.
At 80 years young my long time pal still rides the wall. In this weeks Worlds Fair there is a pic of Gerry, Allan Ford (With his new wall book) Ken Fox the nipper of the wall riders (Also a very good trick rider). Having grown up on the UK showgrounds with these guys and ballied for all of them I can truly say that the Motor Drome is here, alive and kicking against all the odds thrown at them over the past ten years. If you have never rode the wall, then you have not lived!!! Ken |

Could you get pictures of it?
Also, what kind of bikes are they using for this. I remember that there is this group in Canada that uses vintage HD and Indian motorcycles. |

In my Dad's day when he rode the Wall...the bikes out on the bally were big unmuffled LOUD scary Indians. Inside on the wall there were smaller Euro Jawa type bikes (also unmuffled) but the Side car was on an Indian but only went around. not stunted except the passenger would do some acrobatics. Mainly the Side car was for the Lion. (I've mentioned it befiore...but the Lion's Tail wouild be a bit shorter each season. Darn those spokes!.)
