Wow, I had no idea. Mine is autograped to me. I don't think I'd part with it though. I also have a Nick Fury and the Agents of Shield #1 autographed. That's another story. The book itself can probably still be had for around $15.

Isn't the lateral palm based on the Steranko palm? When Carlos Vaquera lectured in the UK at the international magic convention, I remember some great productions he used that he credited to Steranko. I was about 4 or 5 at the time! Though, I have got his video somewhere, he was excellent

I found this book today at Barry's Magic Shop, which is going out of business and having a 50% off sale. Picked up the 2008 annotated edition, which includes a bonus section with updated handlings, annotations and photos. What a terrific book. Never actually tried that lateral palm before. It seems so bold. It's one of those books where no words are wasted, sort of like Erdnase, so I'm reading each description three times to absorb it all. This was a real find.
Now appearing nightly in my basement.

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Jimmy Steranko several years ago while attending a Bill Kalush Card Conference in New York. At that time I had a great copy of Steranko on Cards with me. Steranko not only autographed it for me--he also drew an illustration of the shadow in it. I recently gave it to my friend Bill Malone.
