This is a freebie from Jon Racherbaumer's website. It's a nice, easy to learn effect but I have a question for anybody else who's tried it. I find the intial cut suspicious. What's the point from the spectator's point of view? Any thoughts on this?

Sweet. I'll have to try this. Thanks.
Here's the link by the way: http://www.jonracherbaumer.com/index.asp......mp;cat=6 |

The cutting business - do you separate the hands slightly acting as if they both contained four cards, before uniting them again? Are you pretending to emphasize that there is a set of blue cards and a set of reds?

Cool trick. Roy Walton has another variation of this Dai Vernon effect called "Travelling Man" in "The Complete Walton vol. 2". However the cards that transpose are of the same value. The handling is very similar, though. It's one of my favorite effects in the book.

However, I've solved my issue by removing the appropriate cards in front of the spectator from two different decks - one red, one blue - and continuing from there. |
