Even if you want to buy it, P&A are unreachable by phone or email. I left messages with them 2 years ago and still haven't received a response.
Here's how to make it yourself for a lot cheaper: Clear Acrylic plastic tubes - http://www.cabelas.com Prism (sparkly) tape rolls - http://www.tapplastics.com (search on "prism tape rolls") -Mike

You are right in the past they did not return messages fast, but I had no problem calling them twice since October. By all means use a home made version of the trick this one is simple. Al Angello

Al I want to take your conversation on the $15.00 tube one more step further If I can.
After reading Seriously silly, I too went to David's routine with the crystal tube. at one point his routine has you to shake the tube and the silks fly out of the end. With the smaller tube (the $15.00 version) the silks have a very hard time coming out. Don't get me wrong they do come out but there is a lot of effort involved and it doesn't appear to be an accident. I went ahead and Made my own out of 1 1/4 pvc pipe. this works much better but the tube is not clear. However now that I know that there is a bigger one on the market I will be looking it up. My Point is Yes the $15.00 version works to some point, But the presentation is much Better and easier with a larger ( and apparently much more expensive) Version.

Some props I can see spending the extra money on. The blow tube IMO is not one of them. All that said I do believe in yours props looking and being the best. I am just not sure how much you can dress up a blow tube but if it works for you then great. I just spent 100.00 to get an idea! I will never use the prop but I will use the idea to make my own prop. to each thier own.
As far as the blow silk routine, I like Sammy Smith's routine.
Nothing of the same will bring any change, take action today!

Oops, I transposed.
cabelas.com actually sells the prism tape and tapplastics.com sells the tubes. As for the length, the $10 dealer one is 9" x 1" wide if this helps. It depends how strong your breath is. I made one 12" long by 2" wide. It looks awesome, but have to blow about 3 or 4 times to get the silks to blow out. But I can't blow a 260 balloon up without a pump either. I will try making one 11" x 1.5" wide.

I will fill you all in with the information as I know it. I have known both peter and cynthia White for many years now and consider Peter a friend. I have also been very fortunate to work with Peter in the design and artwork and creation of several of his silk effects that are on the market today. Peter was and still is a professional in everything he does and his silks are by far the best around period. my experiences working with him on projects was that he was always making sure what we did was the best.
Any ways, I to lost touch with him and can not verify the exact reasons although I have pieces some things together from some friends and from some phone calls I made. basically, Peter suffered from some serious health problems about 2 years ago or more that basically put a stop and brought P and a silks to a hault for a while. The fine details of the health issue I am not 100% certain on nor would I want to brodcast them even if I did know for sure. It basically meant that he could not keep up with P and A silks and running it. However, in the past several months, they seem to be back up and running again as I have heard they were at several conventions up near his home base and are advertising again in magic publications. I hope this helps a bit. Kyle

I know nothing about any sickness, but November 2005, and 2006 I have personally purchased P&A silk products from Peter, and Cynthia White at the Metro Magic convention in the Meadowlands of New Jersey, and Peter White is as outspoken and funny as ever. Al Angello
