I watched it a while ago, so I can provide general impressions. I thought the effects on the video were very interesting, thought-provoking, and fun, but for the most part not something you'd drop into the usual performance. Whatsabox!, which enables you to pass a ball through a box by changing where the top and bottom are, is one exception.
If you're interested in topology and would buy the video for your own enjoyment, or if you do shows with a slower, "wonder of science" bent, you'll find plenty to like. I enjoyed it, but haven't put any of the effects into a show. Curt |

Celebration of sides is a great video, and I would have to disagree about not getting performance stuff from it; You can use Arrow of good fortune as a walkaround curiosity, Whatsabox is perfect for a more formal show, I use Brick Wall on stage and Trapdoor is a modern classic. And then there's the Bunny...
Robert Neale stuff is always interesting to read or watch, this is no exception. Take care, Ian |
