* Stop your own pulse...with no gimmicks! And-stop a spectator's pulse without even touching them! No stooges, confirmed by another audience member, this is the real work!
* A spectator simply looks at a playing card and you cause them to actually forget this card-they can't remember it! This really works! * A spectator's actual phobia is seen to go away through a magical, psychological event. Is it real magic? * Two different spectators see two different words on one ungimmicked piece of paper without a single switch. You may also add to this, causing a third spectator to read a third word. * During a palm reading, the lines on the spectator's palm apparently move and twist on their own. A stunning combination of linguistics, psychology and neurology.. And lots more, including in-depth extras from guest contributors and fans of Mr. Jermay. Anybody in here own this book?... If so could you please give a quick review. Thank you.

It's not for those who aren't hyper serious about performing mentalism. But to those who are...it's like learning the BEST double lift for a cardician!
Cheers, Logan

Is this book anything like the other stuff that Kenton sells? I know he did not write it, so I'm hoping not. But from what I've heard, this uses sugestion which is what I want.
Coming soon... Who knows!

I just have finished reading this book. It's excellent and will stimulate many new ideas even if you don't want to perform each effect as is. The logic and thinking behind the 'making spectator forget a card' is worth the price of the manuscript.
I only hope Luke decides to release a video tape of this material, as I think a visual companion would be quite beneficial.

I personally think the book is really good.
The things explained in the book though is not always 100% guaranteed to work. But with alot of practice, and especially a great performance, you should have no problems with pulling it off. Also use the search engine and you'll find some other good reviews. So do I recommend it overall? Yes, I do. Just my 2 cents.. Mack Magic

The book is also well written. Everything that is there adds something - no wasted words - and I didn't get the feeling that they held anything back either.
Unlike some books, where you may have to read 300+ pages to find a gem or two, you will not waste any time reading 7D. - Greg Owen

Well The Big Three is a very limited run booklet featuring my three personal fav effects. Not suited to all but effects such as Skin Deep have become something of a talking point at several conventions I've performed it at. Many thanks,

Hi Luke!
Hey, I'm impressed - you've performed 'Skin Deep' in 'thousands of bars' 'all over the world' ?! And you're only... what... 19 ? That's averaging 2 bars a day for every single day of those 3 years! Sacrifice for your art, indeed! Watch the liver, young man Jamie.

LOL...
Indeed thousands may be a slight over statement! Bars kinda come along with tattoos and music...seemed only natural to combine my other passion and make an effect out of them! My liver is fine....well kinda. Out of intrest does anyone know of any other effects that make use of Tattoos? L. |

HN Review 5: Seven Deceptions - Luke Jermay
AD: "This Material Is So Fantastic - I Bought The Rights To It!" - Kenton Knepper - I have never paid for someone else's ideas to publish, and I may never do so again. But Luke's "7 Deceptions" is in a class all its own. Steve Banachek, Docc Hilford, myself and a few select others have made additions to Luke's incredible work. Here are a few of the effects from this ground-breaking book: Stop your own pulse without gimmicks. Now the SHOCKER... Stop a spectator's pulse without touching the spectator. No stooges. Another member of the audience confirms this. You can even apparently change the pulse rate of the entire audience! This is the REAL inside work. An instant classic from which reputations have and will continue to be made. A spectator looks at a playing card. You cause the spectator to forget this card, and they cannot remember it. Included in this full explanation is how to cause people to forget their name temporarily and much more. Yes, you CAN do it! A spectator's actual phobia is seen to go away through a magical, psychological event. The spectator takes home a special paper to remind them of this dramatic change. Is it real magic? Psychological symbolism at work? How does it happen? Your spectators will be impressed - perhaps for a lifetime. Two different spectators see two different words on one ungimmicked piece of paper without a single switch. You may also add to this, causing a third spectator to read a third word. A fascinating principle explained in full. Many new ideas will come from this one. During a palm reading, the lines on the spectator's palm apparently move and twist on their own. A stunning combination of linguistics, psychology and neurology. REVIEW: If we ignore for a moment all the hypes of the Wonder Wizards site and the disastrous "Eight Maneuver" of Mr. Jermay (see a previous review...), the book is worth reading. The influence of Kenton Knepper is always very noticeable, and a few effects are originally inspiring. My personal favorite is The Pulse trick approach - I am combining this effect with the watch ideas provided in Knepper's "Sorcerer Series" vol. 3. Overall rating: Very good H.
