Have not seen the Horwitz pad but have used the Kozar pad very successfully for a number of effects. It also has a quality look. I use it for 2 effects at the same time. First for Autome (Maven). I hand the pad to 5 people so they can write a page number. I then casually close the pad and give it to the person using the book. While they are looking-up the chosen page I hand the pad to someone else to
add the numbers for a prediction total. Two effects for the price of one.

I just got my pad and it did not look like the picture and it folds side ways not like the picture did they change the pad.

I would get back to your dealer; that doesn't sound right.

It sounds like you have received the Horwitz Wallet and not the Add-A-Number-Pad.

Basil Horwitz Add-A- Number Pad I got my pad and it not like the picture. It has a pad of paper in it and closing it fits poorly. The flap has a cheep maggnet didn't hold good. When you flip the pad it didn't seal good and you can tell plus the magenet is weak. Some one said there had earth magnets.I suggest anyone not to buy this item.I was told to send it back at my cost and time to package it and mail it. I don't mind paying good money for good props.

This doesn't sound like the product as advertized... Anyone else had a similarly negative experience?

This really doesn't sound like you've received a genuine Horwitz pad, particularly as in an earlier post you said the pad opens sideways like a book. I would contact Tony Curtis or Martin Breese and voice your concerns because it sounds like something funny is going on if the dealer is being unhelpful.

Thanks, Calexa

Yes Calexa, I'd actually ordered one of these just a few days before I read this. I'm out on the road so won't get my hands on it til late February, and will certainly post with a review of what I receive, but in the meantime, it would be interesting to hear from Fred if this was a legit Martine Breese Horwitz pad or something else.. and from which dealer?
