I believe it was on an episode of the Virtual Magician, Jeff McBride did some really great manipulations with almost spring flowers but they were individual, and they stuck onto a stem of a flower of such, does anyone know what brand these are or where I can get some like this?
Thanks very much! |

Vernet makes a set, but the colors of the outside petals are hideous.

Jeff gave a name for those at a master class. I will dig thru notes and attempt (meaning try) to find it for you and PM it to you. This could take a couple days!
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."

Jeff painstakingly makes and hand colors these flowers for himself.
As such they are not now commercially available. They are tiny works of art, beautifully variegated and colored, and secretly and cleverly gimmicked. As far as I know they are Jeff’s creation for use by Jeff only. I would not make nor use them without checking with him first. Walt |

Varigated spring flowers were made long before Jeff. Horace Marshall made the blooms that Neil Foster used in his Zombie that had 3 to four shades in each bloom. I have made two or three shaded blooms in the past. It is a pain and I stopped making them because the qualities of the paper did not allow the dye to spread in the same manner.
But I see no reason that you could not buy white flowers and use magic markers or such to hand color part of them. Richard

The marker idea on white is a good one Richard.
It is not the variegation that is unique to Jeff, but the whole package with his special gimmicks and original routine, that's what I'd ask permission to copy just out of respect. Magically, Walt |

I personally wouldn't want to do that exact routine I was just curious about those spring flowers, but thanks for all of the responses!

You might want to try Abbotts.

For the record, I don't believe Jeff makes his own flowers. He does have the name of someone who does, and you might want to try asking him.
