Ok here is one I use all the time....(with thanks to the great Tommy Cooper)

Ask someone to think of their favourite male movie star.....once they have, ask them to say the name out loud. you then go into pretend shock and say...`you know, that is so amazing, because I happen to have a picture of (name of movie star) in my coat pocket here!`

usually they say they do not believe you. then you say..who was it again? tom cruise? I bet you I have a picture of tom cruise, right here in my pocket!

take the bet.

then pull out the picture of a six month old baby. you then say, there you go, tom cruise, aged six months!

I always have another black baby printed on the back as many people say, what if I had chose micheal jackson, (or another famous black person)

then you say, oh hes on the other side!

you can also print a chinese baby on the other side also, just in case jackie chan comes up.

as always, pick your mark.

You confused me though: white baby on the front, black baby on the back and a chinese baby on the "other" side. You have a 3-sided photo! Wow, how you do that?? (flexagons?)

This, in itself, isn't much of a bar bet, but more of a 'gotcha'. How-some-ever, add a little nail writing or pocket writing as a kicker and you've got a nice bet.

Tommy Cooper style nail-writing:

"Name any actor, I've got his autograph here in my pocket.."

He'd pull an "X" out everytime - "They signed it, just like that"

I have the chinese baby and black baby in halfs on the other side, that way you can hide the wrong baby with your hand.

Just for the record guys, 'The Baby Gag' was produced and released by the late,
great, Ken Brooke some forty years ago. Later, Paul Stone (who obtained the rights
to much of Ken's merchandise) added two extra pictures of different coloured babies
for a 'quadruple climax' (forgive the pun!). Tommy Cooper bought the gag from Ken and used it for many years, as indeed did many top comedy performers. The art work
for the gag was done by the highly talented artist, Ken Perks.The idea to use the gag as a 'betcha' is fine but, its primary intention was as an MC or cabaret gag.
