Does anyone own coins from both men? If so could you tell me which ones you think are nicer and get more use?

I'm interested in picking this up. I'm fairly new to the realm of coin magic (I know my basics) and I would like a nice summer challenge to keep my fingers busy and keep me motivated.
My question lies in the types of coins. I know that a lot of us are using the Silver Dollars and some are using halves. Are we talking Kennedy halves? Before I pick this up, I want to go ahead and order a set of coins. If I can get away with Kennedy Halves...I would like to start with those. But if those are bad news... please let me know.
Things are about to change........ LIGHTS!!!

Kennedy's will work, though like others here I found the central move a bit easier with dollars, at least in the beginning.

Same here .. I guess hand size will determine what to use..
