I was watching David Blaine's DVD "Fearless". If you go to the archives menu and wait, he does a self-working card trick with you. I was wondering what the name of the trick was.
You have someone get a deck of cards. You then have them make two small piles of cards. The small piles must have the same number of cards, but the person can decide on how many cards...from 1 to 9. You then have the person choose a small pile and look at the card at the bottom of their deck, and then place their deck on the pile of cards (the big pile) that were not used to make the two small piles. You then have them deal the card face down everytime you say deal...you have them deal 11 cards. you then have them put tose cards back on top of the big pile cards, and then put the other pile of cards that you did not pick on top of that. You then have them deal the cards face you for every letter of "This Is My Card" Their card will appear on the letter "D" Thanks in advance!

Wulfiesmith, all he wants is the name of the trick. You may want to PM him instead.
Unfortunately, I don't know the name of this trick, but it sounds familiar. Interesting about waiting on the menu and having that show up. Sounds like you found an "Easter Egg"!

you will find this effect in the book The Complete Encyclopedia of Card Magic. Under self working routines. Cannot remember the name. But I use the effect. wulfiesmith |
