LOL Josh you're hilarious! Where on/in the monkey did the card end up? Was it folded? Did it require gimmicks? Can it be done surrounded? Where can I buy Card to Monkey? Is it better than Card to Wallet?
Also, yes, the trick, "Thumb Tip" really is good. Present a TT to your specs and they always go wild. It's much better than Coin Sleight, I feel. This discussion also brings to mind that wonderful phrase, "Perform a Double Lift". "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Double Lift..." Ridiculous. There's no one item that I always have on my person without fail. Most of the time I will have my wallet on me with coins in, a watch, maybe a pen... This enables me to perform Recap, PK Time (usually using the spec's watch, mind), a 3 phase coin routine, a coin transposition, and an unpublished routine with a pen. Josh, any variations on Card to Monkey? I'm thinking maybe a Card to Gorilla? Card to Mongoose would probably get good reactions as well...? Cheers, Chris |

Look in Tarbell under card to lemon. Wherever you see the word "lemon" cross it out and write in "monkey".

Don, I thought for sure, it would take more than a month to turn you over to the dark side.

Please, the following post is meant to be humors and is not meant to offend:
“Josh the Superfluous”, "Card to Monkey" is my intellectual property, inspired by Josh Riel’s post and of course “card to lemon”. You must pay me homage, give me credit for coming up with it, buy it from me, and/or ask me for my permission before you preform it any more. LOL
Our friends don't have to agree with me about everything and some that I hold very dear don't have to agree about anything, except where we are going to meet them for dinner.

Johnny Thompson does a nice routine with the Mogar Knives on Vol. 4 of his Commercial Classics of Magic Series available from L&L Publishing. Also Juan Tamariz does a nice routine on one of the Steven's tapes.

If you can find it, Matt Schulein's routine from "The Magic of Matt Schulein" by Philip Willmarth is worth looking at, also, the Lewis Ganson routine in his "Routined Manipulation" Part II has a lot of nice moves, and the holder he describes is handy. The photos are a little murky, but I think he is using Enardoe's knives.

To be honest I don't really carry that much magic stuff on me day to day but if I had to it would probably be a deck of cards and a super sharpie.
