Jim,
They're just Bazar de Magia Brass Cups. I haven't used them/polished them in a while, hence why they're so tarnished, but I really like the look of it! What are the cups you just got, if they aren't the same?

Hey Adam,

"3 Cups, a Wand, 5 final load Lacrosse Balls, a Jumbo Quarter, 3 Decks of Cards, 4 Sponge Balls, and a Box of Multiplying Balls."

That sounds like a good little act. I see you're from Boston. Give me a holler sometime.

Best,

Dan-

{Hey, Danny.}
Adam,
Those are the same cups I just bought a few weeks ago, but I got the copper ones. I got them for a strolling corporate gig I did. I like the look and feel of them, also. Nice cups. I only paid 40 bucks, or so.

Before I had gotten one of Frank's great pouches, I had bought a cheap lady's purse, cut off the straps, and cut 2 slits in the back of it as belt loops. It held three cups, 4 tennis balls, some rope, and a deck of cards, and it didn't look odd at all...well, not to me.

Thank you all for the great tips. I did not think of using a lady's purse. It is not a bad idea. I will have to look in to it.

Thanks again, everybody.

Sean,
Go to either Home Depot or, preferably, Lowe's. They have these black, rigid, pre-formed 3-pouch sets of carpenter or nail belts for about $35 in the tool belt section. They worked great until I got Frank to make me a gorgeous pouch. Thanks, Frank!!!

I recently bought a leather nail pouch from my local hardware store. It was calf skin colored, so I dyed it black with shoe dye, which I also got at the hardware store. I wanted it for working with my smaller "lemon cups". At first I thought it was deeper than it needed to be, but now I think it's just right because the depth will help in working close up so people can't see the loads while standing close to my table.
If you want to load a melon, Gazzo's pouch is the way to go! It's an investment.

FWIW, I like the idea of a nailbag, if for other reason than I happen to BE a contractor (sorry) and I've got some lying about already. They don't fit my performing character, but it's not hard to visualise doing some "Home Improvement" like character in flannel shirt and blue jeans, doing Jerry Andrus' effect (not sure what it's called) but it uses REAL PLUMBING PIPE for a riff on the Cups And Balls!

Hm. Looks like my day job uniform might have to start doing double duty...
