You can bet the old timers would be in there like a shot. The word's out that it will be in shows in the UK and Europe.

Who's going to do it in North America - they'll be money in it for some. There always was.

Americans attention spans are notoriously short so I'd wager enough time has passed to put it back into their shows without question or comment.
Of course tere's only a scant handful of Punch and Judy shows here in the states so it really isn't much of an issue.
