I was practicing last night and notice I can flick one ball from cup to cup fairly quickly without detection (from the wife anyhow). The movement is far from 'slight' though, although it doesn't take much lifting of the cups to really get the ball to rocket out.
Has anyone else worked on a move like this? -todd

I can think of a couple of moves that use this principle, but I'm not sure exactly what you are doing.
