How many of you mentalist types play chess? I'm predicting that it is much more than the norm. Am I right?
I also believe that the ranking achieved but you dudes is also far above the norm.
Am I right?

I played 2 or 3 times about 6 years ago. It was fun. Love the horse guy!

I play on gameknot.com but not very well (1200 is the ranking I normally hover at).

Oh and by the way the 3 times I played I won. I don't know where that ranks me, but I would imagine somewhere near a grandmaster?

WOw. I never knew that I was International anything. I am glad to hear that. One was from the USA. One from Mexico and one from the UK.

Does it matter that they were only 13?

I don't know what that means, but it sounds real good. Glad I have killed that game. Onto warcraft or something I guess.

I've been known to play Siamese Speed Chess.

Martin Gardner loves playing chess, and I was just curious about who else does. I know Omid said that he was a player. And I remember others writing about it.I love chess although my mind will only allow me to play every now and then. Smile

I used to play a bit of chess every now and then: but I'm still not able to bear my father.

Instead, I prefer to term myself a grandmaster. Of noughts and crosses / tic tac toe.

I always wanted to be good at chess, but I'm not.

A few years ago, my wife bought me a chess playing program for my birthday. I played two games the first night. In the first game, I lost to the computer in three minutes.

In the second game, I lost in six minutes.

Obviously, my playing was TWICE AS GOOD the second time. I was improving already.

Sorry, Slim ... looks like your assertion isn't holding up here, eh?

I love playing chess and do so on a regular basis. That is not to say I am any "good", I know just enough to be dangerous:)

I also have a routine that I do with the chess pieces, and utilizes a new psychological force that I developed (I'm sure other people have thoughts here as well), think "Equivox" with Chess pieces.

I'm not ranked . . . Smile

Fine, Corona.

Queen to Queen's Level 3.

Anyone who gets the reference can promote a pawn.

That's not a legal move Rory.

(Queen to King's Level One).
