I have been seeing this term moving about the pages lately, a word that I do believe was coined by one of our more illustrious numbers, Dr. Spektor.
A lot of debate goes on about defining bizarre...I think here we have a chance to nail down a definition before it gets all distorted by interpretation... Dr. Spektor...what EXACTLY is a mizarrist? Gwyd |

Although I like distortion - as per the other threads - who wants to ever really nail something down? I like to think of it as a mystery almost understood - but not quite Really, the truth of the matter? Beats me. However, the name came to me in a fit of mental bizarrism - hence its creation.

Mizarrist...sounds depressing....or maybe like one who runs with Mizars...
I think the avatar name of one of out finest contributors is a good one for the craft... Mystician. Like we do scary nails.

Yes, I chose the name Mystician based on a similar discussion a few years back on this very board. I figured it wasn't truly original; but then again, google yielded very few hits on it back then. I think it fits quite nicely.
Oh, and thanks Doug, I don't know about being one of the finest contributors, but certainly one of the most prolific ! Doc, what in #$%@& are you talking about .... ? Hit it with a hammer ? A rock ? A headbutt ? (That I'd pay to see !)
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.

How many nails are we talking about? I have more than a few, and not just on my fingers.
Palestine dude got nailed at the end, but part of his regular repetoire, probably, was lieing on thorns. It was a standard street-preacher stunt in that part of the world. It was also popular in Maya culture, again, for street-preachers.

As for what I am babbling about.... it involves Vodou Magick (Say Baba, what did you think of that scene in Predator 2? Must of made you cringe!)

Dada Bar, Zargon, is prefigurative of Mizzartism: unsuspecting subject as impossible object, the batchelor stripped rare by his odd bride. Turban Legend Dr. X is surely worthy of Mizzarist Hill of Flame!

One who bends things? I am not sure that it would be the right term for simply being bent.
