Can I just buy the gimmick? I have the educating archer dvd already with the routine?

Thanks John, I really want to give this a go. KOMEDY KILLER is the possibly the most and best thing that could have ever been done with that effect. Collard is just great.

I like your picture ghost surfer. You look like my uncle a bit. He is in prison though. Ha ha.

A suggestion for doing Collard close-up: Have the smaller stuffed dog in a small cage with bars & possibly a small padlock. This will do 2 things:
1) - Stop spectators from touching early. 2) - Allow extra misdirection for doing the dirty work as you open the cage and remove the dog. Just some thoughts. Lou |

I have received this and have had some time to experiment with it, but have not used it in performance yet.
I'm very impressed with the quality of the materials supplied. The routine is nicely packaged and presented, and the props are well made. For anyone familiar with the Koran medallion routine, the supplied materials make the handling simple, straightforward and natural within the context of the presentation. Unlike a standard medallion routine, where you just take out a medallion for the final reveal, with this the medallion is a logical part of the routine, and is visible from the start of the routine without being the centre of attention- and that's what makes this strong. It all works smoothly and the "special something" makes the handling particularly simple. I'm not going to use the supplied presentation per se, and there's lots of room to make this your own. By coincidence I am doing a benefit show for an animal shelter in few weeks and plan to use this as an opener, with a live puppy as opposed to stuffed toy- I don't see how this should present any handling problems as long as the dog is well behaved and thhink it will be a cute bit to open with. So as a pre-performance review, I'd say this is a good piece of work, packed and prepared with Alakazam's usual attention to detail.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth...

I take my hat off to John and Peter for the quality of this release. BTW if anyone does not have John's performance DVD, go get it NOW (may I suggest from Alakazam). John is one of the funniest and most original performers you will experience and also happens to do very strong effects.
Cheers, Al

I've devised a presentation using my wife. She's not happy about it but the audience thinks it's hilarious.
John, next time we meet up I'll share with you a couple of extra bits of business that I was discussing with the UK's number one mentalist just last night. |

I received mine on Monday, I was disappointed at a quality of the props.
A paint of the name-tag gimmick is not flat. A holding position of the secret something is on the wrong position. But the effect is very good. I'll make a new holder. |
