I figure some of you might have missed this at the other post due to its heading. These kids did an incredible job! See the pics here:

That's Great! Kids who only know how to buy their props from magic shops are so disadvantaged when compared to those who can make their own. These kids now have two sets of skills - building props and magishing. Next stops - stage lighting, costume making, booking shows - there's no end to a life-time career in magic.

They also learned about, and participated in, the writing and sending of press releases and working with the media. They studied the history of magic and watched video from the past 50 years of magicians. They learned about reading plans, working in scale, and problem solving. The dark-haired girl sitting in the Temple spent months practicing her back-palm!

I only wish I had that start in my magical life... Still, great to see the work they've done!

What a great job they've made. Good to hear the stories and see the pics. I also started building props with my Grandad from an early age and its helped me no end.
Great stuff Mark

That is tremendous, not only takes me back to my teen years, but it is great to know that magic is going to be hail and hearty years after I'm gone. Nothing I like better than to see young people taking the time to learn this art as it should be learned.

In a time when there is so many negative things young people can fall into, it's very refreshing to see something like this.
These kids should be very proud of what they've done. I know that I certainly am. Seeing this kind of hard work and enthusiasm in these younger folks, can't help but put a smile on my heart .
