Last night, I thought of using big balled-up tin foil balls for final loads. They look great at the end and make up something about they are moon rocks and a bunch of other stuff. By the way, what do you guys use for your final loads? Just wondering.

Hi Austini,

I assure you I am not trying to sound rude, but type "Final Loads" into the Café Quicksearch box. You will get hundreds of results.

Sincerely,

If you really want to do something impressive, use one cup and two basketball-sized oranges! Smile

Two hard balls, and a soft ball that doesn't fit.

An anvil makes a really impressive final load.

An anvil...now that I'd like to see. Normally I produce 3 final loads, each different from the other.

You must be careful not to accidentally lap the anvil. This can cause serious physical injury.

Speaking of balls, they look lovely, but what was the point of using mini baseballs?

I don't myself, but I have been tempted to get some to accompany a theme that I have been playing with for my C&Bs based on magic, or at least the C&B's and how they/it can be confusing in concept and makes no sense, in which case tiny baseballs WOULD make sense.

I hope I an clear an this makes sense to someone Smile

Basicly the idea largely stems fron the fact that it makes no sense to cover our balls with a cup, we're not athletes Smile Not to mention the fact that cupc aren't usually upside down.

Obviously, you can see how baseballs start to make some sense in this presentation.

At the moment though, the cups I have actually don't fit real baseballs for a finally. What I would love is to prduce two real hard balls followed by a softball that doesn't fit.

I'm playing with the alternative of finding some baseballs that are smaller than normal and thus fit for the sides, and sticking with the real ball that doesn't fit in the middle.

Anyone know where I can get some medium sized baseballs? Smile

Thanks.

Glenn

Sportmart is a large sporting goods store that's found in some shopping malls. They have a large variety of baseballs. Some of the kid sizes might fit your cups.

The information about baseballs for final loads has been posted quite often. Here is one thread:

http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115

http://www.sportsfanoutlet.com/cat.cgi?s......training has 8 1/2 inch baseballs.

http://store.linedrive.com/misc-baseballs-softballs.html has 7 1/2 inch baseballs.

http://www.anacondasports.com/webapp/wcs......Id=49301 has a couple of sizes.

Spending about 5 minutes with Google, using the term "training baseball" will turn up lots of resources.

Ah, thanks. I was unaware that they made varying sizes regularly and figured I would need to go through some magic supplier.

Thanks again.

Hi Austini,
I am new also. The elders here are wise and helpfull but I have learned to always do a search first. Sometimes that get cranky if a topic keeps reappearing.
Charlie

PS I have a Budda statue as a final load

I think that's the point of the final load...it's a visual non sequitur
