Hi
I missed going to blackpool this year which is really annoying as Greg Wilson was performing and he's my favourite magician. Can anyone who went let me know what he did - was it a lecture (of new material) or was he just performing? Looking forward to hearing how he went... chris |

He did several close-up performances (Boomerang Card, STick & Stone, Chip on Shoulder, Silverware Swindle... the good stuff.) His lecture was excellent, a mixture of old and new material. Included were:
- PreCap (a precursor to, you guessed it, ReCap) NEW - ReCap - MatchUp NEW - Pipstreak NEW (available seperately) - Foreign Affair (gimmick now available in a printed version) - Pitch & Ditch - Watch Steal - Coin on Shoulder - FreaKey NEW (copper/silver with keys, available seperately) PreCap and MatchUp, along with three other routines, are included in his new notes titled Unpacked. |

Thanks for that - any chance I can get hold of his lecture notes any where?
precap - whats the effect here? I love re-cap and perform this - so sounds like a hit already! chris |

I have no idea if the notes will be unreleased, didn't bother to ask.
In PreCap, the pen turns around several times WHILE CAPPED. In other words, the ballpoint repeatedly changes places. |

If your in the UK, Greg Wilson is lecturing at the Leamington & Warwick Day of Magic on Sunday 15th April. You'll get a better view of his lecture than we did at Blackpool.

Next week there will be a review of the Greg Wilson lecture at http://www.magicconventionguide.com. The site has just been updated with reports on many of the things from Blackpool.

Any news as to when FreaKey will be released? I saw him perform it at Kutztow,Pa.,USA in November. I loved it! Think color changing knives with keys. It was in the works then.

Just talked with Greg and he said, they will be available very soon ...
I have a protope of Freakey and it's a thing of beauty ... I don't believe the final price has been set but it won't be cheap ... but it's right there with you on your key ring and you've got a dynamite piece of magic you'll use for the rest of your life ... |

Greg thinks if he gets other magicians handlings on it people won't buy it from Magic Makers when they rip him off again. And for Danny's comment it won't be cheap , that depends what you consider cheap. Everyone is telling Greg not to sell it for under $100, Greg is thinking around $70/$80. But Danny is right , you will always carry this with you until the day you die. |

Chris,
If you missed Greg Wilson, someone needs to drill a big hole through your favorite deck of cards! Magic must not interest you. I cross Greg on the road from time to time and enjoy it every time. Magic got a gift there! Catch him when you can. You'll be glad you did. Bob Sanders Magic By Sander |

His dvd's are great and they still don't do him justice.

Greg and I had a ball in Blackpool. Let me just say he has a couple of new bits and pieces for later this year that will blow your mind. Be prepared!
