My own mixture is 1/3 glycerine, 1/3 tap water, 1/3 surgical spirit (US=rubbing alcohol). It's so cheap. My wife even uses it now on her heels to get rid of hard skin. Since it is quite dilute it's difficult to overdo it, you can gradually build up on your hands.
Stay away from strong soap and washing up detergents. |

Like many of you I have suffered from extremely dry hands and cracking skin. I recently sampled a product (products) that have worked beyond my wildest expectation. After only a few day my hands were ten times better. Now, after only a few weeks I only use the products a couple times a week (although, nightly is recommended).
These products consist of Awaken Salt Scrub (removes the dead, dry skin), NutriMin C RE Serum (protects the skin) and NutriMin C RE Lotion (hydrates the skin). I had such great results with these products (like having new skin) that I convienced my wife to become a distrubtor for this company. If anyone would information on this send me a pm.
