As a group we can make a difference, this woman lost 3 children and both parents in a fire. She was out applying to college when the fire happened and returned home to find 5 family members dead. I COULD NOT IMAGINE. 2 weeks ago there was a fundraiser for her and I donated 3 hours of ballon making for tips and a clown that works for me donated 3 hours of facepainting and donated her tips. Yesterday I saw Mrs. Shropshire in Wal-mart and asked how things were going....well to say the least , horrible! She has not recieved any insurance money as the origin of the fire has not been detirmined. I live 5 mile from the house and pass it almost daily.

LINK TO STORY: http://www.wbaltv.com/news/10783416/detail.html

How can we help? Easy, we have 28k plus members on the Café'. Please open your wallet and pull out one dollar, wrap it in a sheet of paper and mail it to me. I will collect and donate the dollars to her. I have been in touch with the local TV station and they said it would make a great story. I would plug the Café' along with magicians in general on the news. If it makes the TV news(I guess it has to be a substantial donation) I will ost that link as well

I will be collecting till the end of March so open that wallet, if you need to put a crow bar in it or if you want I will call the fire dept and have them bring out the jaws of life. At any rate it is just $1.39 if you include the stamp. If you want to make a larger donation send a check.

Send those dollars to, all money will be donated, lets make a difference...

DO IT NOW, DO IT NOW,DO IT NOW,DO IT NOW,DO IT NOW,DO IT NOW,DO IT NOW,DO IT NOW!!!!!
Tell Your frinds and family as well.

To save a little work on me and my bank, please do not send checks for 1 dollar. Just wrap a dollar up in a sheet of paper put it in an envolope and mail.

I will match largest donation up to $100.00

Greetings Jeff;
A noble cause indeed, I will be sending a check in the morning mail.

Also to help kick it up a bit, anyone who sends you $25 or more, let me know who they are and I will send them one of my Art of Card Splitting DVDs. I'll honor that till the end of March when your drive ends.

Mrs. Shropshire will remain in our family prayers.
All the Best

Nums, are you letting your customers know that your tips will be going to this cause? It may get you bigger tips that way, as everyone, whenever possible, is willing to chip in a little more if they know the money is going to a worthy cause.
