Wow. What an incredible list. Thank you so much!
Also worth mentioning that Behr has a few great faro effects on his Magic on Tap DVDs. |

Ooh, I'm flattered with your post ("Great list, I love the Faro shuffle. Learned it in Close up Card Magic by the Man, the Myth, the Legend, Harry Lorayne." But I'm sure it's given RiderBacks a stomach ache!!

I have a love/hate relationship with the Faro. I would add Dead Reckoning by John Bannon

Hey Mats, awesome list and super thread to read through. I've been obsessed with the faro shuffle ever since seeing Paul Gertner's Unshuffled on Fool Us a few years ago. One useful reference I'd like to throw into the mix is Patrick Redford's Faro Shuffle Project: https://patrickredford.com/product/the-faro-shuffle-project/ . He does it so differently than most of the classic texts/DVDs teach, and it allows for some interesting subtleties ('haymow style' for example), and teaches a couple great effects too.

Fantastic thread and a great list. Despite my editing Faro Notes in Revolutionary Card Technique my favorite has always been Alex Elmsley's Collinspell. I've found a way to locate the card ahead of time that you need to cut to to hit 26 cards. That has always been a sticking point for me in the routine. This is where I came up with the lame-est patter line "Just talk amongst yourselves." The other favorite was Martin Nash's solution to Marlo's unfinished faro trick. A real surprise to anyone who has seen a faro but a mystifier any time.
