Men's neckties.
I am attempting to construct the World's Largest Ball of Ties. I'm calling upon the help of the Magic Café, because...well, I think you folks would be willing to help me out a little bit. I you have any old ties...you kow stuff from the 70's and 80's that you just can't use anymore because they are just so ugly...I want them. I need as many as I can get my hands on. And with 29,000 Café members, I think I could break a world record. I posted this in another thread, but I think you guys will be more understanding. Please contact me via PM. Thanks, Brett.

Start with a giant exercise ball and then start covering it.....that will save you some time!

That wouldn't hold up to an x-ray.
Exercise ball, my *ss. T-Ray, you should be ashamed. This is one of those things that you either do, or you don't. Not complicated.

OK.....you're right.........but if you just want to say it is the "World's Largest Ball Of Ties" without all the official investigation stuff the ball will get you there cheaper. Good luck if you're serious!!

I'd say if you were to use this Ball of Neckties as a travelling exhibit, then yes excersize ball it away. But I think our young friend here is trying to break an actual record. Shame indeed!

Maybe some of us have other uses for ugly ties? I do.

Unfortunately, I discarded all those relics of the civilized world many years ago. I found them restrictive and choking, both intellectually and creatively to say the least. The ties went and the pony tail arrived. Hawaiian shirts for all I say...
