I don't know about the Colorado incident but I do know that there is at least one very large section of the ocean (not sure if it is the Pacific or Atlantic) that is now a "Dead Zone" void of ALL living creatures.
News of this type is always discussed on http://www.coasttocoastam.com but one must do their homework and follow through with investigating the reports to make sure that the reports are indeed fact and not some fabrication of someone's overactive imagination. The huge "Chip" of earth that is missing under the Ocean was first discussed on Coast To Coast Am, long before the mainstream media picked it up. If you really want some fun reading and listening, I recommend this show very highly, just make sure you check into each story before buying into it. Iven

Doesn't this sorta fit into biblical revelations as one third of all water dwelling creatures are supposed to die off in the so called end times?

You also need to check your sources on the Jeff Rense site, as well. I saw this mentioned on the news, and according to this story it is caused by the cold winter, and it does not mention a lack of oxygen. Perhaps it is caused by the cold, or maybe due to the worsening environment, or a combination of the two - it is definitely not right whatever caused it, but it is not unprecedented - the same thing happened in 1999. Jeff Rense has some really good info on his site, but he also is an alarmist, and tends to jump on any rumor that pops up. Again - not saying that everything he says is false, but even in the "9/11 truth" movement he is considered somewhat of a loose cannon.

According to whom, Judith Moriarty? One would think a few people would have complained about the smell if ONE MILLION FISH DIED. Don't you?
The only fishy thing is the story, not fit to print.

We should hear about all the Coast to Coast stuff on the evening news. It's hard to keep track of bigfoot stories and the latest advances in astral projection.

This is pretty commonly known. I first read about it years ago concerning the Gulf of Mexico. It is a known issue and not Biblical.

According to the articles, it occurs after severe weather. Which makes sense with all of the plant material that washes into the water after hurricanes and floods (near rivers). Nevertheless, go easy on fertilizing your lawns, I like seafood.

Some articles say this is getting worse world wide every year, add all the other things that are going on in our eniviroment and yes it could very easily become something bad in biblical proportions.

My local paper just did a thing today on all the honey bees that have disappeared, apparently having abandoned their hives during this really bitter (and strange) winter.
In fact, it had an article a couple weeks ago about all the robins that were dying because the warm weather lulled them into a false sense of security. Therefore, they did not migrate south for the winter as they should have done. As a result, thousands, if not millions, of robins died this winter.

In California the wild honey bee population was wiped out a few years ago by a parasite (natural for you greenies). So domesticated bees are placed around by local govts to keep the flowers and all that going. I don't think the absence of the wild bees was noticed by other than scientist. Can't comment on the robins, they scared me as a child. Very mean bird.
The reason behind the increased issues of fertalizer being washed into oceans etc is because more food has to be grown and more corn produced for fuel additives and so soil that doesn't normally have nutrients is used....thus more fertalizer is needed and more is washed out to sea. |

Yet again, swamps, bogs and bijou's are formed as a result of standing water and vegetive waste.
