I have and do the Matrix Suspension.... so no it is not based on camera tricks.. yeah I know, unusuall for criss angel to NOT use camera tricks.

I built my own about a year ago and has been the talk of my show. It is built with everyday objects, but entails a lot of science behind it. Cyril has a video performing this and is very impressive. Ive been offered tons of money for the plans, but I wont devulge as even though youd have the plans, it still requires research in the building of it do to your weight or size.... lots of science in which I hired a local man to do for me. This is why it is not on the market. Everyones gimmick would be sleightly different. Not to mention no company wants to take responsiblility for injuries. If not done correctly, or handled by an amateur, injury will take place.

But wanted to at least clear up that this suspension is possible. I was shocked to see a few videos on youtube with everyday kids who had made a gimmick, but they did.

And no, the lean is nothing close to this. Nor is the lean close to being as impressive.

Wow! Good for you mate! Would you be kind enough to point me to the right direction on where I could learn to build this illusion?

The link is no longer working.....

It seems Criss's effect is done partially like a reverse lean with a body harness. Thatcould be one way of doing it. Camera editing is always the easier, and less expensive way I'm sure....

I am sure this illusion was featured on T.H.E.M (totally hidden extreme magic) long before CA has done it. I think it was Danny Cole's version. Tim do you know anything about it?
