Hi Tom,

Emotions Deck is an original effect from a Singaporean magician, Nique Tan, who specialises in close-up, strolling and table magic.

I, myself have Emotions Deck.

It is basically a mentalism effect where you have a small stack of cards with different emotions portrayed on them. You then mix the cards. you then hold the stack and ask a spectator to peek at one card. After which you proceed with patter and presentation of the effect. At the end, you predict the emotion the spectator chose.

Packs small, Plays big is what I could say of this effect.

Cheers,
Ken

I can't imagine how this could be original with this magician. I don't own it, but I have eyes and the picture shows me everything I need to see. Many mentalists have probably used this method.

Tom, get you some unlined index cards, a sharpie, a binder clip, scissors, and customize your own. Or dig out a copy of "Platform Psychic" and I'll make one for you.

The mailman came. This is nice and quick, as easy as I like. My first thoughts were to do it double sided so you could vamp it a bit with 2 people. You do the work for the first person, the second person does the work for themselves. The DVD is a nice and courteous touch,. . Glad I bought this, as it's something I can and will definitely use, and it's done up well.

I received the emotions deck yesterday and the companion DVD. While I appreciated some of the applications by it, there is one serious flaw, at least for me. When I read that a trick has "quick reset" and is "great for stroll around" or "restaurants" I think of working with groups relatively close together or tables, having that one guy that follows you around. With this expectation, I look to tricks to have variety and/or multiple outcomes and this didn't offer as much with that. It's a quality product and I'll use it. I was just expecting more.
