Anybody remember Jawdroppers?
$225 for magic found in basic books. Or you can go for Jawdroppers.

Did you see the contents on these (not to mention the overblown prices)? This is strictly for die-hard Angel fans and newbies with big wallets.

I too will pass on these DVD's, for that price I'd rather wait for Paul Harris's DVDs to come out and invest in that, by the way, anyone know when Paul Harris's DVD's will be ready?

I'll take Jawdroppers ANYDAY over anything from Criss Angel. Not to mean any disreprect, but I just don't like how Criss has presented 'magic' on T.V..
I know some believe he has done good things for magic, by his special, but I have yet to see any proof of that. I don't own Jawdroppers yet, but LOVE the demo I saw of this many months ago. For you 'die-hard' Criss Angel fans, enjoy this series from Criss. I'll keep my money in my pocket on this one however. I don't even watch his Mindfreak show anymore. My next big investment will be in the Tommy Wonder series. Now there is REAL MAGIC VALUE. smitty |

Well you will watch the Tommy Wonder dvd's over and over and just wish he was still with us.
The Chris Angel dvd's seem to be aimed at kids.

It pains me to read the list of tricks taught in these DVD's.
In Volume 3, he'll teach us the 2 card monte! Le sigh... -Dustin |

Wow -- my Tarbell and Wilson are looking to be even better bargains. I'm guessing that Vol. 5 (the $65 one) comes with a TT as the "special prop". The effects listed are standard even to a noobie like me, but can their presentation be that revolutionary on this DVD??
And I wonder if the method for "Coin from Roll" in Vol. 1 is essentially the same as "Ring in Roll" on Vol. 5?

Well, someone's got to buy one. And let everyone know if the tricks listed are in fact the basic tricks that everyone knows, or if there's some sort of interesting new twists going on...

These will appeal to youngsters that love his style.
But..doing magic well and amazing an audience is hard work. Most newbies that buy this series will lose interest. The Jawdroppers series was quite good.

I wonder if these Angel dvd's will teach the magis of the future how to disrespect the art, and expose tricks like he has done?
I get to gaff some cool stuff for some cool people
