I just got this directly from Brian, and wanted to add my 2 cents. I'm fairly new to magic, and looking for effects to base a short act on. I checked out his DVD, and I was impressed that his handling really maximizes the effect-- if you did it without the attention to detail he gives it, it could seem easy. But his handling makes the explanation seem much more elusive. His DVD spends a lot of time on presentation, and that for me is the real winner here that makes it worthwhile.
Let him borrow and return his handkerchief like a man, and trust to his sleight of hand.

I ordered this on 4th July from Grandicillusions and still haven't had the item.

Paypal have recovered the sum of $0.63 from the account and agreed in my favour that I shaould have had the item by now.

Make your own mind up on the business.

The demo is amazing!!! No that's a visual penetration(inside joke guys)It is so visual I will be be picking one up for sure. And with a guy like Nick V vouching for it, the decision to get this is a no brainer for me.

I have to say..that's one fair demo.
Close up penetration effects are one of my favs.

I think you'll enjoy this effect, Jeremy.
All the workings he includes are very useful.
He makes a lot of sense with all his actions.

I like the fact that in Brian's Phantom Band it does more than just one feat.
Impromptu and surrounded with no gimmicks. Talk about on-the-spot power.
A valuable contribution to close up workers.

His DVD price is more than generous, in my opinion.

Brian must have some other material up his sleeve.
I have this young creator on my radar.
Peace on the Magical Streets

Any new thoughts on this effect?

I have the effect. It is not bad, but I wouldn't do it with a borrowed bill. Without giving away the effect, I think if the audience member was just a bit observant, they would notice something fishy about the bill when returned to them. However, I do like the idea and the DVD explanation is pretty good.

If using a borrowed bill as he suggests, I think if this effect were combined with a bill switch, such as Jay Sankey's, it would be a really nice little routine.

Otherwise, it could be done with one's own bill.

By the way, Brian does show a method to "undue" the evidence before handing the bill back to the person who loaned you the bill. I tried it and it does work pretty well to hide the evidence.

All in all, not bad.

I'm glad I added this to my arsenal.

KJ.
