One last question, is there an angle issue with this illusion if you are performing it on a stage? any precautions to take in that regard?

Kyle, you gave me nice idea, I think I have to start try to use audience for my chair suspension...
Or I can use older kid, they will more follow our instruction.

DDHoudini and CC:

Thanks for your kind words. It is my pleasure to assist anyone with this illusion. My pleasure. there is no one best source to buying this illusion. There are many out there. I know the mak Magic and even the Klamm Magic chair suspensions work quite well if you perform it correctly. Most of these types of models sell for around $450 these days and should serve you well.

The only angle problem you want to watch out for is the anchorage point on the anchor chair. This is why when I set up the illusion I angle it so that the anchor chair is back further from the audience. You do not need to angle it that far but just a little bit so that the non-anchor chair is more forward towards the audience. Usually you will not have a problem with it if you do not draw attention to it. The audience has no idea what to look for and because of that they should not see anything wrong.

Also with my own way of performing this illusion, I have the helper actually helps me hide the gimmick during the actual performance of the illusion. I think I went over that a bit up above if I recall.

I go into a lot more detail on angle issues and presentational problems as well as safety concerns in the ebook I wrote on the illusion. If you might be interested in the ebook I wrote on the chair suspension illusion, just shoot me over a PM. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have on it. I think it might help some of you who have the illusion or are thinking of getting one.
