Does anyone know of any good mental-magic books? Does anyone have any for sale? I have one and think it is great. It's called Self-Working Mental Magic by Karl Fulves. Any help would be appriciated. Thank you.

Here are just a few books on mentalism to wet your appetite:
In no particular order of importance Theatre of the mind by Barry Richardson Mind Myth and Magik by T A Waters Stunners or Stunners Plus by Larry Becker Thirteen Steps to Mentalism by Corinda Anything by Annemann Anything by Al Koran Also Phil Goldstien and Eugene Burger have produced many effects with the emphasis on mentalism! The above list is only a small number of the books to study on this vast subject! I hope this helps!

If you get any of the booklets by Annemann, make sure you DON'T buy them off of E-bay unless the price is around $5. I didn't know that these Annemann booklets were still being mass-produced and can be bought online for around $5 or less. I ended up buying a couple off of E-bay for close to $20! Ignorance is bliss, they say, but in this case it drained my wallet!
Frank P.S. The Annemann booklets are good stuff, however. I also have Corinda's "13 Steps to Mentalism". Lots of good stuff in that book. When you first get it and read it, it seems out-dated and "old-fashioned" (I believe it was originally written in the 1950s or earlier). However, the mental effects detailed inside grow on you and become really fascinating effects to learn and/or study. Have fun!!

the Penn and Teller books have some really good mentalism in modern context. Try buying "How to Play with your Food" for some cool one ahead ideas and some spooky modernized ash through hand ideas.

I'd say that the Handbook of Mental Magic by Kaye would be a good one for you.
I think it is a great text if you are starting out. Also it is cheap! Kevin |

I will take some flake for this but Bob's Fundamentals series is GREAT! Get the 13 steps and then get Bob's series!

Mental magic by kaye and Corrinda's 13 steps would be the next logical set of texts to consider IMHO. Then continue to build on these. After that i would suggest T.A. Waters , Mind< Myth and Magic. I think this is a logical progression. Good Luck
