Tony, I'm with you! I've been patiently waiting for this release since Joe told me he had filmed it and it was in post production stages! I expect it very soon.

Yes, this would be a good way to learn thimble magic/routines.
Joe Mogar wrote the book on thimble work! "Digital Effects " it's still in print and available thru Joe. There are fewer more knowledgeable about thimble magic/routines than Joe Mogar. One could say that Joe has forgotten more about thimble magic than most will ever know (especially me!). I suspect that you will learn more than you will use from the DVD. The McBride video's and the Berland routines are a couple of other resources for you. But as a start, the Mogar DVD and book will give you years to practice and work on.

Harry:
I've been bumping into him once a year or so at conventions, and hitting his web site monthly to keep up with this. I loved the book that he and Steve put out, the most complete book on thimble magic I've ever seen. Joe's going to be at Hank Lee's next month, now I'm torn, go see Joe, or be with my daughter for my grandson's birth. |

Joe's DVD arrived today, and I've been up all night watching it.
This DVD is just like having Joe giving you personal instruction on thimble manipulation. WOW! He starts you off from the beginning and leads you though some very simple but amazing work, then some knucklebusting moves that will have your fingers tied up in knots. I'm a very happy camper! Tony |
