Josh, I have sent you a complete set of Porper Linking Rings. Manny promised me he would deliver them to you by your birthday, but he has always wanted his own set of Porper rings, so they might be late, or...

Amosmc,
Believe it or not, I don't have Porper's rings. The last thing I bought from him was a card trimmer. Made 1 Svengalli deck, and threw it in my junk drawer. After buying 26 decks (52 really, but that was my error), my Svengalli deck cost me over $3565.00. But I feel it's worth it, to say I made it myself. The rings sound great. And I know this funny routine about the weld marks on some rings. There's a kid on my block who does welding. I think he could put some weld lines on those Porpers. Maybe I could rough them up a little so they look more like tough steel.

Your right Al, I shouldn't have said "ice flow". The correct term is "ice floe". Sorry to hear that you're the same age as Doug. When I met you, I just assumed it was a dusty bar.
