I am interested to know, other than the Mirage, Invisible, Brainwave, and PDA decks, are there other trick decks that use the rough and smooth principle?
Any Effect Is Possible, methods are relativley easy to come by, but it is the effect that takes true courage to come up with

The phrase, "Limited Only by Your Imagination" comes to mind! Smile

Billy McComb's McCombical Prediction and Harry Anderson's Rough Readers are just two of the R&S decks I use. There is also The Rasputin Deck*, Mentaldini*, The Socrate's Deck*, The Nostradamus Deck* and countless others.

And (as some of the above use), once you get into the so-called "super-roughing" you can go beyond just the run-of-the-mill R&S used in many decks.

*Found in Rough Stuff by Joe Berg and Al Aldini.

Steve Dusheck has one in his Card Magic book. The name of it escapes me at the moment, but I want to say it is called the "Perfect Deck."

The mental photography deck uses this principal and I don't own it but I'm sure the fade out deck does as well,

Mark striving's invisible b-wave, the diamond deck, marlo's roughed stripper deck, a pop-eye'd popper deck...to name a few.

Patrick Page told me about his Brainbuster deck. Interesting trick principle and it uses rough and smooth.

I've been toying with half-roughed cards lately. There is a lot of cool stuff you can do using the principle.

I've used the idea for a couple of force decks. Plus, applying it to a Svengali deck can also have it's benefits.
