Has anyone ever noticed that Osborn's Zig Zag plan in Genii and the Black book has no center box hand hole do you think this was a oversite or on purpose?

Is this the "simplified" Zig-zag plan. I believe the plan he sells is the standard "with hole"

I know, but that's Paul.
Why change something that has stood the test of time, and probably, overall, hundreds of thousands of performances. Another kicker to me is when folks change the front design with no thought as to why Harbin's worked so well in aiding the illusion! Gotta go and feed the elephant before our interview!! To me the "hole" was what sold the original illusion. It´s much more powerful that way. Still the simplified version is also great because of that, the simplicity.
