Yes, great video! The woman harpist is Tina Lenert, a well-known magician (and harpist!) and Mike Caveney's wife.

Folks
To add to what Misterioli has already said, "The Blue Room" was originally done in 1879 by Professors Pepper and Walker. It may also be found under the names "Metempsychossis" or The Walker Illusion". In addition to the Hopkins book already mentioned, there is a very detailed description in the book "Magic" by David H. Charney. It is also spoken of in "Conjurers' Optical Secrets" by S.H. Sharpe. As I recall, the article in Magic Magazine followed one of Jim Steinmeyer's recreations which was subsequently presented in the TV show shown in the video. Hope this helps. Arthur Martello |

Eddie -- Thanks for the link to the article. This may be just what I was looking for, a way to create a portable Pepper's Ghost and possibly even blue room illusion. I have requested more information from the company and am very excited about that potential this product has both for magic and haunted attractions. Thanks again.

I bought the Magic magazine from their website. I'd like to hear a little more about this from TC Tahoe.
That new stuff looks almost too good

I remember seeing the Blue Room on TV a number of years ago when it first aired. Great effect!!! I immediatley recognized Tina Lennert (plus the the harp was a dead give away). But who was the other actor? He looks really familiar, a magician I guess, but I can't place him.

Nope, not a magician. His name Roger Cox and he is an actor...and a very nice guy.
