I have been looking for either a bright yellow or bright blue sports coat and matching pants. Does anyone know where I might find these? I'm trying to stay away from the zoot suit or Miami Vice look.

I would like to find something much like a business suit; however in a bright color.

I use to see internationalmale.com selling these, however, not so much anymore.

I bought a purple suit on ebay recently. It was made in China, and not very expensive either.

http://stores.ebay.com/DRESS-SUITS is where I usually get mine.

Not great quality, but cheap enough to buy two for when one wears out.

Go to a men's store. Find the style of jacket you like. Then ask them what colors it comes in. You will be surprised to find that most jackets come in a wide variety of colors. The bright blue jacket you see in my avatar was found that way.
I got it from S&K Mens Wear.

There is a store called Chicago Hi Fashion in Asheville, NC that has brightly colored suits. I am not sure if it is a chain or not. One of my friends got this bright purple suit there to get married in. Open your phone book and look for men's clothing and you are bound to find a shop that specializes in that type of thing if you are in a town of any size.

It's been a while since I posted this; however, I wanted to share the outcome...

Pictures of my new performance suit posted in my blog...

Thanks for the resource Dan! I've ordered two suits and love 'em!

Thrift Stores and Vintage Stores or Ebay is the way to go. Just go to Ebay suit finder, type in your measurements and you'll be surprised how much will come up.

I must say you picked a great outfit for a cub scout pack performance. =D

Really liked the walmart story too...I laughed my head off.
