Note that this isn't a US minted coin. The currency is issued by Niue, South Pacific. Still a cool coin though!

Sounds like it should be marketed as a D-Lite Coin. Vanish a coin in a flash of light.

I've got another one. Its a prototype for a sun/moon coin that actually simulates day and night!

As sibbie said, this website is NOT the US Mint. They want you to think it is, with the URL "govmint.com", and the flag flying prominently, but they are a private company that sells coins. (Although that one with the Statue of Liberty that lifts off is almost weird enough to be cool - but not $89 cool!)

Well, it might not be made at the U.S. Mint, but it seems like it might make a pretty cool prop to throw into a routine somewhere, hmmm.....
Where I go, so do my coins.....

Seems more like a novelty coin over a gimmick...

I can see it now, magicians with light up coins & D'lights. Do they make white D'lights?

Well Guys... I ordered mine. I'm hoping it's a yellow light. I have a yellow d'lite. Will work good with my light up tie. Some pepole never grow up and I'm one of them.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!
