Finally a super clean looking pocket levitation!
Erick Castle has developed a winner here, in my opinion. You have a card selected. You then hold it with your hand and within a few seconds the card starts to rise. It's looks pretty *** real as well. There is a setup, but it won't take long. It's really simple as well. The clean up for the effect is easy as pie as well. You can levitate up to an Ipod or cell phone! That's pretty good, if you ask me. Well, take a look for yourself! http://www.zyworld.com/Castle2569/ You can see through his hand. How DOES he do it? Another great effect by Erick Castle, check it out.

Well I will be completely honest, I am not sure what is new here at all. The video looks good, so I took the plunge. Let me just say, I have a card sitting on my desk, setup almost identical to this effect. I guess the only difference is his gimmick is setup to use with any card, or other objects, not just one card. But otherwise, it truely is identical to another floating method that has been around as long as I can remember. Also, in regards to the video itself. It definately looks better than gallerian did, but its still hard to see what he is doing. Plus the audio still sucks. This looks great on camera, but lighting is definately a factor, unless you keep the object floating low. Being that this method is nothing new, I am not sure I could recommend this in good faith.

The method isn't new, but rather the props are different.

Thank you kindly for your purchase of Krokus MarvinSanRemo, I appreciate your interest and I hope you have a lot of fun performing it.
There are certainly plenty of floating effects on the market today, to better clarify my reasoning for going about creating Krokus wasn't to brand-it as being something entirely revolutionary or better then others in the past. The importance for me was to make something which is unique being able to borrow all of your objects and then floating them for your audience. This is merely my interpretation for how I like to levitate small/objects, you may consider this to be more so a improvement for a (old) idea which has been around for quite some time or this just may not appeal to you. The goal of mine is to bring fourth new ideas and I can't satisfy everyone, but I'll surely give-it my all. I know with a little bit of practice you could perform Krokus using most borrowed items to float, don't underestimate the sleek use of this gimmick because it really fry’s laymen. I apologize for any audio-issues, this is something I’ve been trying to greatly improve. I live in the city and it's not always easy to filter out everything (cars, motor-cycles, buses etc.) in the background. In the video explanation I explain to you all the necessary steps in and out for how to pull this illusion off correctly, I agree the lighting is a very important element with Krokus and I go into ways to cover this using your own natural backdrop from your body. Regards, -Erick

I agree with you 100% Erick. Very well said. One of the reasons I purchase his products is because of his customer service. Erick offered me a refund if I was unhappy. The fact is, there is an upgrade to the previous levitation, which does exactly what he says it does in terms of using it with different objects. Its hard because lately there has been a large rehash of older material, and I was hoping for something different. I will recommend it because of the new subtlety of making the gimmick mobile. I will not be asking for a refund.
As far as the video and audio are concerned, I would think you have made enough money at this point to buy some low end equipment to help with this problem. If you continue to release products, look at it as an investment. A cheap video camera, a cheap clip-on microphone, and one good light would make things much better. I am sending youa PM about a few other things that I cant say here. |

Hello everyone,
The video should play properly now without any "Private" messages, just click the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnhghRjDanA Also I re-shot the explanation_footage for the (Instant download) in order to get a overall better quality in both audio/video, that's probably why my website may of been acting a bit funny.
