I am trying to locate instructions for 2 older effects.
One of these is called Florio. It is a mechanical wilting flower in flower pot. Pour in water and the flower pops up. Slowly it wilts again. This is repeated many times through the show. The other is Hamilton's Blow Dye. This is a silk dying/dye tube routine with three silks and rolls of Lifesavers(?). It has a wooden stand that holds all the props, and also used for securing/ditching the dye tubes. I checked the Rice books, and don't see it in there. I have both of the props... just need copies of the printed instructions. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! ~michael

The blow dye is called Harrison's blow dye. There is a routine in the Magic by Lawton book.
There is a version of Florio in the Jack Hughes book (volume 1 I think). It was put out by Magic Inc in this country as was the silk blow. Richard

Thanks Richard. My initial info was wrong on the Blow Dye creator, and I was set straight through a very informative PM.
I appreciate the info regarding Florio. I had first been told it was an Ireland trick, and found one mention connecting Magic Inc.'s name in a Café search, but the trail ended there. Do you know if anyone makes these today, or who has the rights to it? Regards, ~michael
