Ok, i have heard and read some about this trick and know the basic premise but couldn't find any review or much discussion about it here.
I have it on order, along with a couple of other things, but i would like to hear feedback from some of you that have performed this. Also if there are any tips or suggested improvememnts on presentation, etc. It sounds like a great trick, especially under the right circumstances (not to mention the fact that Valentines Day is around the corner, can you feel the love yet???). Thanks in advance. Peace out ! GlenD

Simply put, it is one of the strongest effects you will ever do if you put in the right amount of practice and perform it well. I have been doing Doc Eason's version for many years and without a doubt, it is one of the five strongest tricks I have ever performed over the past 18 years. To say that people love it is a massive understatement. I have people come up to me all the time and open their purse to pull out the card that they kept from a show I did five years ago.
Get Doc Eason's video if you have trouble with it. His version is very easy to perform and very straightforward to the audience |

Alrighty!
Thanks for the strong encouragement, emyers99... I will definitely give a lot of time to performing it well before ever attempting it in a real situation, but i am curious as to what i will actually be getting ? Or if i need to plan on obtaining special cards or whatever... Thanks again and any additional info would be much appreciated (i ordered the trick saturday and was notified via email that it would ship today because of the holiday). Needless to say i am very anxious to receive it, also ordered Reality Twister. Hmmm, might be something there too... alone and twisted vs. together and joined (if happened to have both tricks on me and followed one up with the other) ??? GlenD

Let me say that I consider this to be one of my favorite all time performing card effects. Whenever I get a newly married couple....or a long time married couple celebrating their special day....or even first daters.....any two humans who are looking into each others eyes with that look of love.....this is the effect I do. When I got it from Doc Eason at a convention years ago it came with a booklet of instructions and a special deck of cards that you use one of in each performance. A deck you probably already have and will need more of as you learn the power of the waltz. Buy it. Use it. Relish the moment.

I love this effect and get much mileage out of it table hopping and I always take it with me to a wedding. I still have people come up to me 5 years later who tell me that the card is still part of their wedding album.
Aside from a long ridiculous argument about what a gimmicked card is, you can find a previous discussion on this trick by following this link: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......2&25 |

Thanks guys and thanks Michael for the link. All i can do now is wait... That thread reminded me of the Elevator thread a little bit. Lots of lively differing of opinions and, well ... you know (dont want to get it going again here)
I am anxious to get it though and begin practicing a lot during the next week or two. You just never know... But i have a feeling that i will be very glad to have it ready to go by mid Feb.! GlenD
