So let me kick off by being more specific and saying exactly what I would like I'm looking for a peek wallet, hip or full size, not a smaller credit card holder I would prefer to be able to put some every day items in it Perhaps pictures, money, or credit cards I want to use it for a billet with 4-6 words on it Hopefully the handling has to allow me to have time to read the words without it being obvious that I am up to something A minor miracle in fact lol Can anybody help me to get on the right track here? Is there one that will fit the above or will even come close? Cheers TJ |

I recently bought the Stealth Wallet, and its a standard size wallet, but I need to reopen the wallet to peek.
I suggest you check out Outlaw effects website. |

Go straight to Outlaw Effects.... their wallets are exactly what you are looking for... and their quality and service can't be beaten...

Hi
The Outlaw wallet seems to be a credit card size? The only place I have seen these smaller size items is on Magic sites, I have never seen one in real life The peek seems perfect but I'm bothered about the size Having to reopen the SAW rather ruins it for me Thanks for the info so far TJ |

TJ, reconsider the Stealth Assassin Wallet; it's a real money wallet and has another peek option that eliminates the need to open the wallet.
More importantly, it comes with two DVDs of in-depth explanations and effects, which might be useful to you since you're new to the peek wallet thing. If you want to do impromptu miracles, eventually you'll want to chuck out the gimmicks altogether and study billet work.

I have both the Outlaw and the SAW.I like and use both. The SAW also has an SUC side you can use.[without having to open]
From what you mentioned about being able to put some other items in etc...the SAW is the way to go. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I have up to a 15 minute act ready to go in my SAW at any time. The Outlaw is a business card size wallet, and can be used for PW'ing and Swami as well as SUC type effects. I highly reccommend both. They are quality tools that I am very glad to have acquired. Best. Does Outlaws Widowmaker need to be reopened to get the peek?

Jeff: No, it functions like the Outlaw.
TJ: The business card wallets are used in the real world for business cards. Most everyone I've come across in the business world has carried his cards in a case or BC wallet. I've only run into 1 person who carried his business card in his hip pocket wallet. And he was a magician. |

What you are saying is right but this is a UK/USA thing I can honestly say that I have never, ever seen one in 'normal' use over here but I believe that Americans are busier with business cards than the British I have been told that they take every chance to trade cards with each other A card case would be a point of interest over here It wouldn't be 'invisible' I remember when we first saw a Thought Transmitter at Blackpool We all thought it was suspicious Cheers TJ |

The Outlaw is a BC case, the Widowmaker is a hip pocket wallet. I guess it is a US/UK thing. Business cards are the thing for business here. They are whipped out faster than my ex could a credit card. T |

Teejay,
You said you are looking for a minor miracle. What makes you so different? The only miracle you are going to find is in you. If you can't find it then for you it doesn't exist. |

Hi TJ, Here in Germany I work on the trade fairs and almost all of the "GB traders" carry their B Cards in a card holder / wallet. I have the Outlaw and it works well for me. Paul

Hi
Thanks everybody who has helped so far It seems that SAW and Outlaw are state of the art at this moment Outlaw is not suitable for me and I have some misgivings about SAW The Widowmaker is the proper size but I have made a similar item myself but I always want to work as clean as possible So I started using B..... S.......s and not involving the wallet at all The next level of cleanness imo would be to have a normal looking wallet, put a b..... in, take a Peek, put it aside, reveal the info But it doesn't seem if such a wallet exists if there is one, surely somebody would have said so in all the threads that I have read It looks like I have been looking for the Holy Grail lol Thanks again TJ |

Teejay,
I recently purchased a no frills, hip pocket peek wallet at my local magic shop, and it works great. I would recommend the product more but it doesn't even have a name ... it's just a hip pocket wallet that can carry a large number of business cards, credit cards and bills with a HUGE peek window on one side. It's the wallet I carry with me all the time, (only cost $15 too ... I love this country). The Outlaw, (actually I own the Panther), has the advantage of being smaller and affording the ability to PW, Swami or Double Write as well as peek. I find it more natural to peek with the Panther than I do my "chepo" hip pocket wallet. Yet, I must say, that I have been using the hip pocket wallet more lately, since I carry it all the time. I don't know about Holy Grails or anything like that, but you might be able to find a "no frills" peek wallet at you favorite magic shop, when you least expect it. Of course, you can't go wrong with an Outlaw wallet, as anyone who owns one will tell you, (but you've heard that a thousand times). Don't give up the search, Steve |

Hi Steve
Many thanks for those encouraging words I had almost given up but, after reading your post, I've spent 5 hours searching on the Café To recap I'm after a Peek Wallet (not a combination of effects but, if they are included in for a small cost, I don't mind. I don't want to spend a large sum for a Total Mentalism Show in One Wallet) It must be leather, normal looking and normal size. Not a business or credit card size I must insert a b....., have time for a 4-6 words message, close it and put it down (or close it, read it and put it down???) The b..... stays in the wallet Findings so far 1)SAW I have seen the clip showing it being re-opened. That is not suitable They mention 2 peeks What is the other one? Does it need a re-open? Is it done when open? Or is it after it is closed? Other wallets of interest 2)Perfect peek wallet 3)EvilDan 4)Pimpernel Notecase 5)Brainscan (I love the idea that the b..... stays in sight but a bit bothered that because it is folded the method may be difficult???) Can anybody comment on any of the above 5 items? PMs may be preferred Let me thank Steve again and all the other posters for their help I knew very little about this type of tool so all the posts have been helpful in narrowing it down to the above items You have been very patient and let me explain this Most Mentalists in my opinion will spot a wallet that may do a mental effect or even more They think that it sounds interesting and they buy it I am working from an other angle I have a VERY specific effect that I want to achieve I need the right wallet (or two lol) I'm not a fuss pot but the effect is (more lol) Thanks again for the help so far Very Appreciative TJ |

The SAW is also equipped with the SUC peek by Mark Strivings.
I bought one recently. It is excellent as an everyday wallet, and is designed to be so used. Barry |

Good choice TJ.When you receive the SAW you will see that it is well worth the price both in quality and in possibilities.
