Cellini, one of the best street magicians around, covers it on several of his DVDs including his "2005 Street Magic Lecture DVD" from Zürich.

Howard,
Have you reviewed some of the older Magic books on the Learned Pig website. Marko site has over a hundred old public domain magic books on line for review. Many of them have cigarette and cigar effects. just Google the learned pig. It is a great site.

Howard I forgot to mention there is a small magic knowledge test, before Marko gives you access to the test. But it is very straight forward. Good luck,
Charlie

David Stone's "Quit Smoking" DVD is very good. Cyril does some great moves on youtube and some ebay guys sells video instructions for the Cyril moves for a low price.

Best regards,

Another food for thought is that if you are not a smoker or do not want to use cigs, you can start to think in different directions. Use the moves you have learned for cig manipulation and then apply it to similar shaped objects. People get so locked into cig manipulation having to use cigs. Or we get locked into card manipulative magic having to be only cards. What starts to make us more creative is when we realize that all of this is just shapes of objects we are manipulating. When we think of it this way, we can learn to use moves we already know and apply them to other objects not so common to the manipulative arts.

Hi, You might look into thimble manipulation for ideas on cigs.Thimbles use basicly the same handling as cigs. A thimble is a cigarette that you can put your finger into,a coin is a flat billiard, and so on.
Zion speaks......are you listening?
