Has anyone read or bought "Master Mentalism"?
From descriptions, it seems to be a great book...but a little pricey. What do you think about it? I wanted to know your opinions before buying the product.
Thanks

If you are not Luke or Ryan Even, don't wast your time with this. Instead get Corinda or Annemann's work.

Seriously.

Then he most likely owns Corinda already. After all, it sounds like this book is just a rehash anyway.

Keep in mind that I haven't read it but I fail to see how any book of quality can cover:

1. Mentalism, Mind Reading and Psychological Illusions (the “meat” of the book)
2. Interviews with Criss Angel and David Blaine
3. David Copperfield secrets
4. Levitation techniques
5. Card tricks
6. Hypnosis

in 223 pages.

Smile No, I'm not...Luke.
My name's Lorenzo and I'm Italian. I already own Corinda and Anneman books. By the way, thanks for your opinions.

If this book also offered the Caramilk secret, I would have bought 2, as it will surely soon be OOP, and worth untold dollars on Ebay!

I'd definately buy it, if only for the genuine interviews with master mentalists Criss Angel and David Blaine.

Hey Angel has Banacheck and Luke helping him.

And you can see it in the end product delivered.

Take the end product to be what you will.

Italics = sarcasm....Funny!

True Believer & CinChiller....I would suggest that the reason for the number of smart-ass answers on this post, is that books of this nature that promise the sun, moon, & the stars, are treated kind of like the diet pill that promises everything and delivers little.

There are no all-in-one shortcut books for the aspiring Mentalist. Corinda and Annemann build as solid a foundation as you can get (and are at the root of most of the "mentalist tricks" Blaine and Angel have done), then there are countless other works to learn and borrow from.

This simply appears to be a Big (e)Book Of Tricks.

The book appears to be nothing more than an attempt to capitalize on the current trend of mind magic. Based on the description given, it is geared towards the general public. Similar books on hypnosis, picking up girls, and becoming a billionaire with eBay look like this book.

The author's expertise in the topic of mentalism is evident in the listing of topics he covers and who he included for interviews. (Yes, there was quite a bit of sarcasm in that statement.)

If you want a laugh, to get frustrated, or to see how many items can be misappropriated, get this book. But please, don't discuss it here. The forum for Cons and Scams is further down on the opening Café menu.

Important sentence in the review:

"Master Mentalism is perfect for beginners who know little about magic."

Well, I guess there are better books on this topic. Oh, and there are not enough card tricks in the book........;-)

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone, nearly 10 years later, has bought this and what it really is! Part of me knows its probably a scam, but then again it's only $5.

Thanks
