I got the impression that things went wrong and he couldn't do his act, so he just ran with it and improvised the whole thing. Considering that, genious.

This shows how everyones opinions are different. Some here loved it---I personally felt the urge to convince those sitting in the audience to stand up and leave (had to refrain from talking to the moniter).
A little too over-the-top for my tastes.

It's not if you like it or not I want to know how many of you would be ****ed off if you paid to see a magic show/act and got a comedian with no magic involved in his show.

I get a kick out of "he connected with his audience". Well watch and LISTEN. He connects with only a few who are laughng themselvs silly. Either spikers or magicians.
I am not certain why anyone compares him to Williamson. I found myself waiting for this funny thing to happen that never got to happen. I think magicians may find it amusing spacifically. It may work well at a convention, but for the general public I would never use him.
