Does anybody know more about the upcoming new trick called UV Nightshades from Paul Harris?

This is just a guess, might have something to do with a uv pen. Like the scorpion from Ellusionist. That' is just a guess. Anything with UV catches my attention as UV pen.

Definitely something to do with the two routines published previously with 'Nightshades' in the title. I'm thinking something involving 'shades, a bill and a marker pen. Complete guess, though.

I'd say it's either a take on his original effect or maybe some shades that allow you to see markings with a special uv pen.

I'm guessing it is an improved handling with another ending possibly. With what Cyril did with impromptu night shades on his special makes me wonder if that's what the effect will be?

That would be great.

Ir probably ends the trick by pulling out a real pair of sunglasses.

I never understood why it was called IMPROMPTU Night Shades. It is simply not.

Ok, question still stands.
Improv is direved from Imrpomptu and improvisaion. Both meaning on the spot and un prepared.

The 'S' standing for 'seemingly'. Or perhaps the 'sim' standing for 'simulating'.

UV Nightshades is a creation by Mark Allen, Paul Harris, and Joe Russell. UV in this case stands for Ultra Visual. So the title is actually Ultra Visual Nightshades (it does NOT use UV ink, etc.). Basically it is exactly that.... an ultra visual, no cover, extremely strong handling of Paul Harris' Improv Nightshades. Mark Allen had the initial idea but together Mark, Paul, and Joe honed down the handling. This is probably one of the strongest things you can do with a borrowed bill.
There are also 2 GREAT bonus items... the first is, in my opinion, one of the best torn and restored card routines out there... a dramatically strong version of Paul's Peeler. Joe Russell added a brilliant idea in there. Also, is a great version of the spinning pen where you can borrow the pen and show your hands VERY cleanly throughout. It should see the light in about 4-6 weeks. Tim Trono |

I watch a magician in a tv station that do a nightshade trick. The way he did it is different than what I know, He borrow a bill from the spec then openly draw a sunglasses covering the eyes of the potrait on the bill, spec can clearly see it is drawn covering the eyes. Then He gave the bill to be examined by the spec, He took the bill and after some patter he do the nightshade move but he did it a little bit fast and the sunglasses is clearly moved onto the forehead of the potrait. Is this the UV Nightshade or merely the magician improvement by switching the bill? The ability to give the bill for inspection before the move is realy an improvement than the standard one.

After searching around, it seems like the version I watch is a version in Juan Hundred Dollar Bill Switch DVD by Doug McKenzie. Beautiful use of bill switch....
