Looks incredible, and I'm also thrilled that PH finally has a website! The original Nightshades (well I say original but that shows how yougn I am I guess, I mean the version from the Art of Astonishment) was good enough but this is . . . whoa . . . .
Also the improved version of "Peeler" looked very very cool. I know what's going to be on my Christmas list this year . . . those PH DVD's!! In fact I might just keep a change jar saving up for them . . . |

Hi Serling307, I worked with Paul on the original Nightshades, it was with a mechanical pen. He's told me about the new version, and I'm looking forward to
it. Tom |

Got an email from Jason at the Astonishment Project just a little bit ago and he said .....
The new UltraVisual NightShades from Paul Harris and Mark Allen will be out later this month. There were some problems with the first batch of DVD's so new ones had to be made up. We will be carrying it exclusively along with another shop. Everyone has been asking for my review of it and I will post it later this week.

I got a lot of mileage from Paul Harris's original Nightshades. It's a great hit with friends and strangers - folks invariably asked me to do this trick when I ran into them again.

Just like Garcia's Fraud, there is something more magical, it seems to me, in rubbing the glasses up in the original, than a shake. Is this just me and performance preference?

Tone I think your a bit confused. the original marketed version uses a gimmicked pen, that's what poeple are talking about

Hi guys,
The original NightShades came out in 1993 and was completely self working. The bill was attached to a pen and the pen did all the work for you. Then Paul released several updates in Art of Astonishment that could be done with borrowed bills and without the pen. There has been some talk of rereleasing Classic NightShades with some added handlings and an instructional DVD. As for Ultra Visual NightShades, I will have my promised review up shortly. It really does open up a new realm of possibility and is based on something Paul likes to call an "anomaly," something odd that just seems to happen. Things seem to be going well with the DVD this time around so barring any major disasters or acts of god, this will be available from www.theastonishmentproject and one of our buddies later this month. Any other questions feel free... Best, Jason http://theastonishmentproject.com |

I was confused, apparently.
The only handling I was familiar with is from the AOA ... Apologies again! Thanks for clearing that up. Learn something new each day, I say! ( : |

Probably within 2-3 weeks I bet since it doesn't look like it will be this coming week.
