What did you guys think of it? I loved it. Of course there are 3 villains in the story so I'm sure it was very hard to put depth into all the characters with the love relationship between MJ and Peter. I thought it was awesome, I've watched the movie twice already and I love the Bruce Campbell part in it as well as the emo Peter Parker dancing along the sidewalk. They kind of left the Peter and MJ marriage story dead at the end of the movie. But I understand that there is much more important stuff going on. I felt that the last battle was really thrown together but all in all a awesome movie everyone should see
Anyone know if the making of Spider-man 4 is final? The only logical thing they could come up with is the symboite giving birth to carnage and/or Dr. Conners becoming "The Lizard". |

I have also seen it twice. Great story line. However, I am getting a bit weary of those computer-generated action scenes that go by so quickly that everything is a blur (chase through the alley, final battle sequence, etc.
The "sidewalk dance" was a hoot! I read that Kirsten Dunst had originally said that this was her last one, then later changed her mind. I hated to lose Harry, though. I think there's so much more they could have done with him.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

I personally did not like the movie. It lacked so much. I didn't like how they totally changed up the story of Ben Parker's death. I guess after the last movie they needed something to keep that problem going. Is the Sandman like a good guy now? He didn't die, so I assume he's coming back, just like in the comics. I don't know what they'd do with him having been forgiven?
I think I need to see it again. I went to a pretty late screening after having a whole busy day at school. I'll go see it when I'm more awake and maybe I'll enjoy it better. |

I was sorry to see Venom come and go so quickly.
The ending(s) felt syrupy to me. So many flavors of syrup. And sandman's exit left me almost hearing the song 'dust in the wind'. I heard the video game is pretty good though.

I don't play video games. My intent was to leave some positive about the product (spiderman3).
And even if a movie does hugely opening weekend... does not mean it's a winner to me. Here's hoping Transformers will be fun and IronMan will also be fun. Any thoughts on 'Stardust'?

I could pick it apart if I wanted to, but the truth is I loved it. If they do make 4 they need to get Gwen out of there. She was really more or less dead weight in this film.

As far as blurred sweeping pans, I think that's a choice to make it match film action (the way we know it) better.
My son told me it wasn't his favorite Spiderman. But ... I'll buy it on DVD no doubt.
POOF!

I did not enjoy this Spiderman at all. It was just a sappy chick-flick with a few great action scenes in the middle. I would have enjoyed seeing a lot more of Venom also. Oh well.

Definately not one I will be buying on DVD. I thought they crammed way too much into one movie. Each villian could have had its own movie with Spiderman. I hope I never have to see another EMO Peter Parker again...

I was mildly disappointed as well. I wouldn't call it a bad movie, but it could have been much better. IMO opinion it could of been 30 minutes shorter. I think the whole Venom and evil spiderman should of been it's own movie, this movies could of been about Harry , Peter and Sandman and been better I think.

How many of you know that one of the best close up magicians ever to work the Magic Castle, an award winner and all around great guy was in the film? I'll give you his name later.
Oh, we liked the film a lot.

Why, Pete....I didn't know you were an actor, too!

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
